Surreal Photography by Annie Collinge

Annie Collinge is a photographer born in London in 1980 to a mother from Berkeley, California and a father from Blakely, Manchester. Having spent her childhood growing up in Highbury north London, she now lives most of the time in a decrepit ex-speaker factory in Brooklyn, New York. Her work has common themes which include; things with faces that aren't humans, crusty junk shop costumes, pound shop items and colourful (sometimes) slightly sinister things she finds on her travels in the US. She shoots portraits and still life for a range of editorial and commercial clients and has exhibited in London, Los Angeles, Sydney, Rome, Barcelona, Cannes, Buenos Aires and Kuala Lumpur. She hopes at some point to publish a small book of her photos of actress and model Linda Leven.
